Ten years ago, they needed to upgrade their IT. Richard, as webmaster, knew this was outside his realm of expertise. However, their hardware installer ran into a problem he didn’t have the background to solve, so he called in a friend of his, Adrian Scutti of StreamlineIT – who fixed it.

Then the Covid pandemic hit, business models changed all over the world, and the company needed to upgrade their cumbersome Sage 300. They thought back to Adrian. Richard and the CEO, Tory, expressed anxiety about having an onsite server and taking on an IT manager on staff. What if a power cut hit? What if their “guy” was sick?

Adrian’s response?  “We can set it up for you so that you no longer have a server on-site, but in the cloud.  We’ll take care of your Microsoft platform needs, and we’ll make sure everyone in the company has a virtual desktop – no need for VPNs any longer – and your clients will have their own dedicated email access”.

So, even for a monthly per-user fee, this works out as more cost-effective for a mid-sized company than taking on a dedicated IT employee. With the StreamlineIT team on call and making sure all accounts are secured; Richard and Tory have peace of mind. Once a month, their own dedicated StreamlineIT team member Jomar comes into the office for 90 minutes, just to “sit” and give “face time” to troubleshoot or advise.
